The solar eclipse of 29th March 2006 as seen from Turkey. The place is called Gelidonya Burnu (Swallow point), from above, on a spot just off the Lycian Way (walking path), from there I'm looking at the 'treacherous' Bes (with a little c under the s) Adalar (five islands). a shipping hazard which has caused many wrecks. The pic was taken at totality. The place is near Adalar, not quite on the centre line but nearly, not far off, on the Lycian Coast, southern Turkey.
